Tree Surgery Groundworker


Location:Regional (Day & Night Shift Work Required)

Salary:€35,000 – €45,000 DOE


The Opportunity

ISS Recruitment is working with a leading client in the arboricultural and infrastructure services sector to recruit a Tree Surgery Groundworkerto join a growing and safety-focused team.

Key Responsibilities


Ground Operations

  • Carry out all ground support activities as directed by the Crew Leader

  • Handle and process branches and timber safely and efficiently

  • Operate woodchippers, stump grinders and other powered equipment

  • Support traffic management operations on-site

  • Operate machinery and equipment in line with safety procedures

  • Drive company vehicles as required

  • Support crews across a variety of arboricultural and forestry projects


Candidate Requirements

  • Full clean driving licence essential

  • Safe Pass and Manual Handling preferred (training can be provided)

  • NPTC Chainsaw Tickets (CS30 / CS31) advantageous

  • PTS certification desirable

  • HGV Licence Category C or above a distinct advantage

  • Previous experience in arboriculture, forestry, or similar outdoor/manual roles desirable

  • Willingness to work both daytime and nighttime shifts on a regional basis
