Our client, a well-established company based in Naas, is seeking a reliable and practical Yard / Maintenance Operative to assist with the general upkeep of a busy site.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving grounds maintenance, basic repairs and general duties across the site. The position would suit someone who enjoys practical work, is comfortable working outdoors and can work independently.
Main Duties
Maintaining the yard, grounds and outdoor areas.
Mowing grass and carrying out general groundskeeping duties.
Keeping the site clean, tidy and free from hazards.
Carrying out minor maintenance and repair work.
Completing basic repairs to doors, windows, handles, locks and other fixtures.
Assisting with painting and general upkeep where required.
Moving equipment, materials and supplies around the site.
Reporting any larger maintenance or health and safety concerns.
Carrying out general duties across the site as required.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in maintenance, groundskeeping, facilities or a general operative role is desirable.
Good practical skills and basic DIY knowledge.
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
Reliable, punctual and able to work on own initiative.
Good awareness of health and safety.
Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
A full driving licence would be an advantage but is not essential.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.
