The Role
ISS Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker / Installeron behalf of our client in County Kerry.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business where quality craftsmanship, teamwork and customer satisfaction are at the heart of everything they do.
Working within both the workshop and on-site, you will manufacture, assemble and install bespoke cabinetry and laboratory furniture to the highest standards. Travel throughout Ireland will form part of this position.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacture standard and bespoke cabinetry to precise specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
Select appropriate materials, fittings and tools for each project.
Cut and prepare materials accurately.
Assemble cabinets and furniture to an exceptional standard.
Apply sealants and finishing materials where required.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
Carry out repairs and servicing of existing cabinetry.
Plan workloads effectively to meet project deadlines.
Install completed products on customer sites.
Advise customers on the care and maintenance of finished products when required.
Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
Work collaboratively with colleagues while maintaining a strong customer-focused approach.
What We're Looking For
Completed apprenticeship or recognised training in Cabinet Making, Joinery or a related trade.
Minimum 1 year post-apprenticeship experience. ( 5 years+ experience )
Strong woodworking and cabinet-making skills.
Ability to visualise spaces and produce bespoke furniture solutions.
Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
Good mathematical and measuring skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Full driving licence preferred.
Willingness to travel as required.
