The Role

ISS Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker / Installeron behalf of our client in County Kerry.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business where quality craftsmanship, teamwork and customer satisfaction are at the heart of everything they do.

Working within both the workshop and on-site, you will manufacture, assemble and install bespoke cabinetry and laboratory furniture to the highest standards. Travel throughout Ireland will form part of this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture standard and bespoke cabinetry to precise specifications.

• Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.

• Select appropriate materials, fittings and tools for each project.

• Cut and prepare materials accurately.

• Assemble cabinets and furniture to an exceptional standard.

• Apply sealants and finishing materials where required.

• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.

• Carry out repairs and servicing of existing cabinetry.

• Plan workloads effectively to meet project deadlines.

• Install completed products on customer sites.

• Advise customers on the care and maintenance of finished products when required.

• Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues while maintaining a strong customer-focused approach.

What We're Looking For

• Completed apprenticeship or recognised training in Cabinet Making, Joinery or a related trade.

• Minimum 1 year post-apprenticeship experience. ( 5 years+ experience )

• Strong woodworking and cabinet-making skills.

• Ability to visualise spaces and produce bespoke furniture solutions.

• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.

• Good mathematical and measuring skills.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising quality.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Full driving licence preferred.

• Willingness to travel as required.
