Overview
We are currently recruiting experienced First Fix and Second Fix Carpentersfor a variety of construction projects across Ireland. Our clients include well-established contractors working on residential, commercial, and large-scale developments.

We are looking for highly skilled carpenters with strong experience in site-based carpentrywho are seeking consistent work and competitive rates.

Key Responsibilities

First Fix Carpentry

  • Structural timber framing

  • Stud partitions and framework installation

  • Floor joists and roof structures

  • Door and window frames

  • General structural carpentry works

Second Fix Carpentry

  • Hanging internal doors

  • Installing skirting boards and architraves

  • Kitchen and cabinetry installation

  • Flooring installation

  • Finishing carpentry and joinery

Requirements

  • Minimum 6–8 years’ experience in First Fix or Second Fix carpentry

  • Valid Irish driver’s licence

  • Safe Pass certification

  • Manual Handling certification

  • Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be currently based within the EU and hold valid EU work authorisation.

  • Please do not apply if you do not currently have the legal right to work within the EU.

Desirable Certifications (Advantageous but not essential)

  • CSCS Skilled Worker Card

  • IPAF (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms)

  • Abrasive Wheels Certification

  • Working at Heights Certification

  • Construction Site Safety Training (SOLAS or equivalent)

  • Teleporter / Site Dumper Ticket

  • Safe Use of Power Tools Certification

  • First Aid Training
